Traffic police to keep vehicles moving during boat racing festival   

Some 255 traffic police will be on standby to help keep the streets clear and ensure vehicles can move freely during the boat racing festival.
Chief of the Vientiane Traffic Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Phengsavanh Thammaboun, said police will be stationed at 70 places, mainly junctions, traffic lights, outside offices and at roundabouts.
